We visited the alliance française d’Auckland today- they offer kids school holiday programmes for any kids from beginner French speakers to full Francophones. A great option perhaps for our kids if you holiday in Auckland :)

Aujourd’hui Mon fils et moi, nous avons rencontré une fille francaise qui est a whangarei comme back packer…. On a passée une bonne journée avec elle, visiting the stone quarry, parua bay tavern, and she and I chatted in anglais and Francais, at Mon fils a eu la chance de practiquer son francais Aussi. Merci à Justine!

Salut, I’m keen to connect French speaking families of any level in whangarei…. I’ve got a 5yo son who listens to my imperfect French when I’ve got the energy, and he often gives speaking words a go. We read French books too. I appreciate the value there is in children hearing other children or adults speaking it too… and hoped perhaps for a space where we could connect (perhaps a monthly meet up at a park in a similar fashion to Auckland groups that exist) to practice and play together. I thought I better give it a go, anyone keen?
