As we come to the end of the year, we just want to pause and say thank you ❤️

This year has been filled with connection, growth, laughter, learning and plenty of moments that reminded us how strong our community truly is. From coming together at events, supporting one another through challenges, celebrating milestones big and small, to creating safe spaces where our young people feel seen, valued and proud, none of this happens without the tribe.

To every volunteer, whānau, supporter, sponsor, partner and community member who showed up, lent a hand, shared knowledge, or simply believed in what we do…we see you and we appreciate you.

To our staff, past and present..you have all brought something to the table and created that ripple effect for our youth, for that we are grateful 🫳🏽

We are only just getting started.

2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year with new opportunities, stronger partnerships, more kaupapa-driven initiatives and even more ways for our community to connect, grow and thrive together. We’re excited to build on the momentum, honour our roots, and continue creating pathways for the next generation.

Farm Camp Highlights ~ Growing Our Future Farmers! ✨🌾

Swipe through these incredible moments from the recent Farm Camp, where some of our rangatahi took their first steps into the world of on-farm mahi and discovered what it really takes to thrive in the agricultural industry! 🚜🐑

Linking in with the Whangarei Agricultural & Pastoral Society, we found that they are all about Rural Excellence…sharing knowledge, bringing communities together, and inspiring the next generation to explore rewarding careers on the whenua🌱

From fencing and shearing, to milking, to machinery use and animal care. 🐑⚙️

Huge thanks to everyone involved, the Whangārei A&P staff, helpers, our coaches, host farmers, whanau and young interns who make it all possible.

A free, fun-filled evening for rangatahi aged 13–18
come chill with us for indoor movies, music, game zone, sports games, and a FREE sausage sizzle!
📍 This is a vape-free, drug-free, alcohol-free event designed to bring young people together in a safe, positive space.
👀 Please note: Young people will be responsible for themselves on the night – no drop-offs or pickups.

You’re Invited to Our Youth Movement Tomorrow! 🔥

Our Youth Movement, a youth-led initiative by Solomon Group and proudly supported by WHG District Council, is putting on an epic community event - and you won’t want to miss it!

Over the past few months, our incredible young leaders have been learning what it takes to bring a vision to life. They’ve done it all - from budget breakdowns to contacting potential sponsors. They’ve developed key skills in communication, delegation, teamwork, and project planning.

And now, it’s time to celebrate - with YOU!

What’s Happening?

• Sports & Activities
• Photo Station for Parents & Bubs
• Heaps of prizes to be won!
• Free sausage sizzles & ice cream!

Our rangatahi have put in some serious hard work, and their youth coaches have been right there with them every step of the way - guiding, mentoring, and supporting.
