Deafblind Association NZ are thrilled to share this amazing article on one of our own! Sally Britnell
Well done, Sally, we are so proud of you!

If you've been part of the Blind Low Vision NZ community for a while now, you might recognise the wonderful Sally! 💛

A few years ago, Sally and her first guide dog, Sienna, took on PAWGUST and led an incredible fundraising team, raising more than $10,000 to help train future guide dogs.

After Sienna retired, Sally spent seven months navigating with a white cane while waiting to be matched with her next guide dog. Now, we're so excited to celebrate a new chapter because Sally is back for PAWGUST with her beautiful new guide dog, Priya🦮

Priya is a calm, thoughtful black Lab who has made a world of difference to Sally's daily life, helping to ease the mental load of navigating busy city streets.

We're so excited to have Sally and Priya taking on PAWGUST together this year. Join us in wishing this incredible duo all the best for their challenge and show them some love in the comments below 👇
