Understanding each learner’s "why" is key to unlocking their full potential. This is why as part of the Festival of Adult Learning Ahurei Ākonga celebration here in Christchurch Ōtautahi we are celebrating the why. We would like to invite you to film a 30 second video (smartphone video quality will be fine), sharing the story of why you learn. What motivates you to learn? Why do you study? Why do you turn up to class/course? All learners that submit a video will go in the draw to win an incredible prize! There will also be a “People’s Choice” prize for the learner that gets the most likes for their video. All videos uploaded or sent through to us by the 25th of August will be eligible. We will collate all the videos uploaded and edit them together to show a “highlights reel” at the launch event on the evening of Wednesday, 6th of September, 6-7.30pm – save the date. Please note that by uploading or tagging us in your video you give permission for us to use the video footage as part of the event and on social media. More details coming soon - watch this space!
