Primary Years parenting course

Six weeks 7:30-9pm

Just when we all think we’re getting the hang of this parenting thing, our toddlers become 5-year-olds going on 13-year-olds and we find ourselves facing a whole set of new challenges! Starting school, navigating friendships and deciding how may hours of screen time are too many hours of screen time?

Over six weeks, we’ll cover all of this and more with plenty of opportunities for discussion and questions. We’re sure you’ll come out the other end feeling confident and ready to tackle the primary years with your kids.

Game on For Dad's Parenting Course
20th April 7pm for six week

This course is about looking at ways that we as dads can be the best we can be for our kids. Our kids don’t come with an instruction manual – (and who actually reads those?) – so it’s good to learn stuff that might help us to help them.

In the first week we look at what our kids need, then at what our role is as dads. Week three is about communication which we follow up with discipline and boundary setting. Week five is about nutrition and the brain and week six brings it all together.

This course is designed to support parents of children aged 6–12 years, giving you practical tools, encouragement, and fresh ideas to help you navigate these fun (and sometimes challenging!) years.
