✨ Save the Date – Abbeyfield Winter Fayre! ✨

Our Abbeyfield Winter Fayre is coming together beautifully and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic community day out ❄️💙
🗓 Saturday 18 July
🕙 10am – 2pm
📍 Community Hub, McDougall Street

Expect a great mix of stalls, local goodies, food, raffles, activities, local entertainers and performers. Fun for all ages – perfect for a mid-winter outing with family and friends.

We've got a wonderful lineup of stallholders including local honey, pickles and preserves, handmade fudge, photographic art, upcycled goods, energy healing, eyebrow threading, kawakawa products, hand knits, crochet, blankets, customised magnets, tote bags, bric a brac.

Raffle prizes are also stacking up nicely, with some amazing support from local businesses:

Thank you so much to Ian and the amazing lads at the community workshop for building from scratch a Tombola drum for our upcoming Winter Fayre. It will be used on the day to draw raffle tickets for the amazing prizes that are coming in. And, I'm sure a part of Abbeyfield fundraising events for years to come.

We are seeking registrations for table stalls for our Abbeyfield Winter Fayre. Just $30 donation a table. Tables and chairs are provided.

We are open to all queries from; crafters, jewelry makers, artists, pottery, knitted goods, food producers, and especially vintage treasures, or clothes, (bric a brac).

We are expecting a few hundred people through and it will be a family fun, affordable event, with entertainers, demonstrations, a coffee cart, sausage sizzle, amazing raffle prizes, and much more.

Isn't our town incredible?
Thank you to Haddon from Rippon.

We've just been gifted a bottle of Tinkers Field Pinot from one of the oldest vines in the region from Rippon. Valued at $208.😮

The raffle draw will be spectacular at our next fundraiser on July 18th. Save the date - our Winter Fayre is a not to be missed event.

We've a line up of entertainers, musicians, demos, craft stalls and great food.

What an incredible night for us at Abbeyfield Wānaka

We’re still buzzing after such a successful fundraising evening at Cinema Paradiso last night, where we launched our brand film alongside a screening of Project Hail Mary. With nearly every seat filled across all three cinemas, it was such a wonderful show of community support for what we’re working to achieve here in the Upper Clutha.

A huge thank you to the team at Bunker Street for bringing our story to life so beautifully. Your work has helped capture not just what Abbeyfield Wānaka is, but what it can be for our community.

We’re also so grateful to everyone who generously gave their time and shared their stories on screen, your willingness to be part of this means more than we can say.

To the wonderful team at Cinema Paradiso, thank you for hosting us and helping make the night run so smoothly. A special thank you as well to Simon and the Abbeyfield Queenstown team who came over to support us, it meant a great deal to have you all alongside us.

And to everyone who came along, bought tickets, supported the raffles, and backed our vision, thank you. Nights like this remind us just how wonderful our community is.
