National Venturer Caving School To teach young people skills in an underground environment, and to get as muddy as possible! Caving School is open to Scouts who are 14 years or older.

WEATHER UPDATE
No wind. Rain levels are low.
Less rain is predicted for today than we had on Wednesday before School started.
Caves have been selected which are very well known to the instructors. Areas to check water levels with the option to turn back have been identified.

WEATHER UPDATE - Cyclone Vaianu

We are closely monitoring the weather situation and plans are in place. NO caving will take place under RED Warnings.

Heavy Rain Watch: predicted rain for Sunday is for the same volume that we had overnight Wednesday. This had minimal impact & all caves currently have lower than normal water levels.
Cave selections have been made to ensure that projected rain will have minimal impact. These will still be suitable if there is an upgrade to Orange Rain Warning.
