The Waikanae Scouts White Elephant sale yesterday was a success! Thank you to all who came and supported our kids.
Wasn’t the best weather to have people coming out but we appreciate each and every person that braved the cold and damp day to come check us out!

And thank you to Coffee to Die For for having hot drinks on tap! They certainly helped jeer the cold at bay!

Hi all, the Waikanae Scout Group are looking to hold another fabulous White Elephant sale on 20th June, to support our 10 Scouts who will be heading to NZ Scout Jamboree at the end of this year.

We did this 3 years ago for the last NZ Jamboree and it was a really successful fundraiser for the Group, so we want to do it again.

We are on the look out for a mobile coffee cart that would be keen to support our event, by parking up outside the den so all our fab customers and visitors can purchase a hot drink, and who would also be willing to donate a % or set amount of their sales for the day to support the Scouts (happy to discuss this further).

If you are a mobile coffee proprietor, or you know of one, we would love for you to reach out to us, so we can chat more.

We are also on the hunt for good quality 2nd hand household goods, clothing, games, books etc. get in touch if you are having a clear out and have something we can collect.
Cheers,

Waikanae Scout Fundraising Committee
