Waikanae Beach Residents Society Incorporated WBRSI is a group formed by local residents, for local residents. Meet your Waikanae Beach neighbours, be kept informed, and add your views to local matters.

WBRSI wish to invite part-time or full time residents of Waikanae Beach to join. Membership of WBRSI is open to residents and property owners in the wider beach area extending from the Waikanae River to the South,
the new expressway site to the East, and Pharazyn Reserve to the North. Membership is $10.00 per family, per year. For a copy of our information flyer, please register your interest, and direct membership enquiries to:

This first photo of the scarp face was taken on 11 April.
The second 2 were taken on April 16 at 3pm, with low tide showing scarp face after the recent strong Westerlies with wave action up to the dune.

Hope everyone is safe and dry! The Waimea Stream has taken on quite a bit of wood. I’m sure it will be cleared soon.

After the last storm, Waikanae Beach is looking more like a winter beach than a summer one. So much wood!
