PURPOSE OF EACH ITEM

Soft toy: For comfort, role play, something to hold on to or take feelings out on. Torch: Many abused children find the dark frightening and those going into care may be in a completely new environment. Notebook and Pen: This gives a child a chance to write or draw their feelings or write down what is important to them. Colouring books and Crayons: Great activity for kids to take their mind off things for a while. Blanket: Can be used to keep warm, hide under, wrap around their shoulders/body for comfort. Please do not be offended if we say no to taking used soft toys. Handmade items like blankets and knitted/crochet toys are fantastic as they come from the heart.
