We were lucky enough to have this photograph surface recently. It was accidentally discovered in a private collection which was being dieted through.
It’ll be a parade of some sort and the building behind is where Millers Drapers and later Couplands Bakery was on Kermode Street.
Pretty cool old shot featuring our one-owner from new, fully functional 1889 Shand Mason Steam Fire Engine.
