It was so good to see all the guests at Thursday’s meeting, Peter C chaired the meeting and presided over two speeches, table topics and new member inductions.
Kelvin’s return speech was an icebreaker about his life journey since leaving TM some years ago.
Jacqui’s presentation focused on how the club can take advantage of having strategies and standards to achieve goals in the club.
We inducted Amy and Sandhya into the club, always a great event, best of luck to both of you.
Next meeting is October 15. Hope to see you then.

That was an exceptional evening, where guests outnumbered members.
Gareth chaired a challenging meeting that had unforeseen apologies.
Nikko’s return showed no loss of speaking skills, well done.
Thomas entertained with a speech about family tradition, bonding and enthusiasm for kart racing.
Kelvin stepped in to run table topics, thanks for your expertise.
We are delighted to induct two new members, always a highlight.

August 6 meeting featured an outstanding chair, two very different speeches and table topics that entertained.
Briony read a story she wrote, it was about a scary house.
Bogdana gave an excerpt of her podcast entitled “later”.
The last time you did something was the theme of TT, and Thomas held everything together with his role as toastmaster.

Another meeting, another feel good moment.
Chandika chaired the meeting, introducing a new item of round robin speaking.
Rizwaana practiced her speech about community that she is presenting this week at a function.
Our Area Director, Lindley, gave us TM information about it’s structure and made us feel supported.
Jeannie’s table topics entertained and humoured the audience.
Guests joined in, very encouraging and brave.

Ryan hosted our meeting for the 16 of July, a lot of fun was had by all involved.
Peter C spoke of a work incident that required stitches, Peter D challenged the audience to question his position in a hostile audience scenario.
Gareth’s table topics centred around “the first time “.
We had guests who were keen to another visit at our next meeting.

We’re in our new venue!
Gareth chaired the meeting for the second time. Excellent work. Three speakers, Peter C spoke about his communication style relating a past event to highlight his experience.
Thomas’s speech was about the importance of what you say versus how you say it, a brilliant speech.
Finally Rizwaana spoke of her planned speech to people who are involved in helping others dealing with death, and how various communities manage.
Table topics by Chandika centred around the World Cup and sporting issues.
Next meeting is July 2, see you then
