PDRLNZ PARTNERS WITH STANLEY FOR THE WORLD CUP CAMPAIGN
PDRLNZ is proud to have international drinkware brand Stanley supporting our New Zealand Physical Disability Rugby League team as we prepare to head to Sydney for the 2026 World Cup.
Stanley has generously provided personalised drink bottles for our travelling squad, ensuring every player and staff member has their own bottle for training, recovery and game days throughout the tournament.
PDRL NZ Team Manager Robbie Johnson said the support means a lot to the group.
“For a team like ours, support like this genuinely makes a difference. Our players and staff are largely self-funded and everyone involved gives a huge amount to be able to represent New Zealand on the world stage.”

“To have a global brand like Stanley get behind our team is pretty special. These bottles will travel everywhere with us throughout the World Cup, and having them personalised for each member of the squad makes them something the team will be able to keep long after the tournament is over.”

The partnership is another exciting addition to the PDRL NZ World Cup journey as the squad prepares to cross the Tasman later this month.

And that’s a wrap on our final PDRL NZ World Cup training camp. 🏉

A significant weekend for this group, with yesterday being the last time we’ll all come together on this side of the Tasman before we fly to Sydney on the 27th for the World Cup.

Months of preparation have gone into getting to this point, and this weekend was about putting the final touches on our work, spending time together as a team and making sure we’re ready for what lies ahead.

There’s been plenty of hard work along the way, but as you can see from the photos, there are also a few characters in this group who keep everyone entertained! 😂

The camps are done. Next stop, Sydney.
