What an incredible day at WishCon 2025!

We welcomed around 700 attendees through the doors and together raised $5,027.93 for Make-A-Wish New Zealand.

A huge thank-you to our sponsors, whose generosity made the event possible, and to our amazing volunteers, who kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm brought the day to life.

This milestone shows what our community can achieve when we come together for a great cause. From all of us at Mana & Meeples and Shiny Squad, thank you for making WishCon 2025 unforgettable! 💜✨

I just wanted to say a personal thank you to everyone who helped make WishCon Timaru a reality. To my fellow organizers, putting in the hours, contacting sponsors and vendors, brainstorming logistics and cool event ideas. You guys were a joy and an inspiration to work with.

Thank you to all the generous sponsors who helped make everyone's day with great prizes to giveaway and accommodation for our out of town volunteers.

Thank you to all of the people that stepped up by volunteering their time for the event including set up and pack down and just generally stepping in to help me where needed.

Thank you to all the vendors who came to WishCon. You were part of the attraction and what made this event special. I really enjoyed talking with every one of you and seeing your amazing stalls.

And last but not least, thank you so much to every person that attended WishCon 2025! The atmosphere was so so good. Seeing the wonder of exploring the vendors, or playing in one of our games or tournaments. It just made every moment of planning worth it.

We had 700 people throughout the day and in the end raised over $5000 for Make a Wish NZ anx that was only possible because of the amazing community engagement and people showing up!

Wishcon 2025 is done! What an amazing day. We will tally everything properly and give a numbers update on amount of money raised and attendees and update everyone on Monday!

However early indications are that WishCon raised near $5,000.

Once eftpos sales numbers are in we will let you know and organize the donation!
