Who is:
- Hauraki Educators Guild Ltd – Education Service Provider set up by myself to run the Kōhungahunga under a business model.
- Te Puna Reo Kōhungahunga o Te Waihou is the name registered with ERO as Māori language nest – 73 Rewi Street, Te Aroha.
- Application submitted to ERO 28 August
- We will cater for 15 Tamariki (5 under 2yrs) + (10 tamariki 3 to 5 yrs) to be reviewed in 2 yrs time.

Staffing – 2 full-time qualified Kaiako + part – time x (2) Curriculum
Marautanga: Te Whāriki Te Ara Māori – local focus: Iwi, Marae, Community based: voice of the whanau: graduate profile, wātaka.

Morena tātou just an update re ERO i have a lease on a property in Te Aroha now need to fill it with some tamariki. One thing i noticed is the lack of Puna Reo for our mokopuna in the regions of Hauraki Paeroa & Te Aroha. If you are living in Te Aroha, my preference would be to tautoko the hau kainga but also make room for our whanau further afield if they are inclined. Getting certification has just become a lot more complex with the changes ERO have put in hei aha it should not be a deterrent for supporting growing the next generation of mokopuna. Kia kaha.
