The fantastic refurbished Lakeland Express is now full steam ahead. Lakeland Lions have done a fantastic job and the train looks great with the new paint job and new upholstery.
Everyone come down and try out the train, being operated by both Lakeland and Taupo Pakeke Lions.
The train will operate throughout the school holidays (weather permitting).

It was another busy weekend for our club. On Saturday Colleen and Ian supplied morning tea and lunch for the District Cabinet meeting.
Sunday Lindsay W, Val and Lindsay M ran a stall at the Taupo Market, we did quite well thanks to a certain Lindsay Murray. Sold 24 Christmas cakes and a couple of rat traps.

Also on Sunday our Secretary attended a District training day, It was really good, lots of fun and well presented. Also Pakeke provided lunch, thank you to Colleen and Ange running around and setting it up.

We are always looking for new members, if you would like to join a club that serves the community, and has a lot of fun doing it, you can contact the Secretary on 021 937 156

A busy day at the Kinloch Market, a dedicated group of club members running a stall selling , Christmas cakes, lollies, bird feeders, rat traps, and running a game “splat the rat”. We didn’t make as much as previous years, it was worth it with the inter action with the public.
We even met up fellow lions from Palmerston North, and Cambridge.
