What an incredible journey it has been! ❤️🚁🐑🐕

On Thursday we had the privilege of presenting a cheque to the **Greenlea Rescue Helicopter** from the proceeds of this year's **Bayleys Sheep Dog Trials**—a moment that reminds us why this event means so much to so many.

This year, together, we raised an amazing **$35,669.42**.

Even more incredibly, over the four years the Bayleys Sheep Dog Trials has been running, our wonderful community has now contributed a phenomenal **$110,000.00+** to help keep the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter flying. That is a milestone every single person involved can be proud of.

To **Yvonne, Grace and the entire team at Bayleys Taupō**—thank you for your unwavering support and belief in what we're trying to achieve. From day one, you've been by our side, and we simply couldn't do it without you.

To our incredible behind-the-scenes volunteers, especially those who spend countless hours preparing the sheep for the event, thank you. While your work isn't always seen, it is the foundation on which this event is built. Your dedication, commitment and willingness to give your time make this success possible.

And finally, to our sponsors, competitors, auction donors, buyers, volunteers and everyone who came along to support the event—thank you. Every entry, every bid, every donation and every helping hand has contributed to something far bigger than a sheep dog trial.

Together, we've built an event that not only celebrates our rural community and the skill of our dogs and handlers, but also gives back to a service that is there for all of us when we need it most.

**$110,000+ raised in four years.** What an extraordinary achievement.

From the bottom of our hearts… thank you. 💙🚁

Many thanks to Taupō & Tūrangi Herald for covering our event, we truly appreciate your support. 🫶

And thanks again to Virginia Caro for writing the article. :)

It was double delight for the experienced Leo Jecentho at the Bayleys Sheep Dog Trials at Taupō last week, winning the Open trial with his dog Ash on Saturday June 27, and having trained the Growing Future Farmers Waikato team to win the inaugural training farm cadets team challenge on Friday, June

A message from our amazing photographer Jan, from Take The Moment.

Hi Everyone,

Photos from all five days of the Bayleys Sheep Dog Trials are now loaded onto the Take the Moment website.

Here is a link for you: www.takethemoment.co.nz

Prizegiving and photos from the Auction are in a separate folder and there is no name search for these but for all other photos put your surname into the search field.

I have tried to get photos of all of you but that is not always possible and hopefully I haven’t incorrectly named any images. If you see any that are not correct, please let me know.

I appreciate that some of you are not familiar with the website and if you would like some help let me know and I’m more than happy to give you a call.

50% of all orders will be donated to the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter but please put your orders and payment through by the 8th of July so the amount can be included

In the overall amount raised.

Cheers,

Jan.
