Kia Ora! I'm Reez, I'm your local champ for Neighbours Aotearoa. I'm excited to bring communities together everyday--but especially during the month of March, which is Neighbours Aotearoa month.

If you're not familiar with Neighbours, we're a community development initiative dedicated to growing, connecting and strengthening neighbourhoods across the country.

Each year in March, everybody is invited to do something small - or large! - that lets them know a neighbour that bit better. From the 1st to the 31st of March 2025, Neighbours Aotearoa encourages people to organise an activity or event around the theme Let’s Celebrate.

The theme Let’s Celebrate offers an opportunity for people to practice aroha (generosity) and manaakitanga (hospitality) with people they want to connect with. It also includes sharing whakaaro (knowledge) and pūkenga (skills).

If you want to get involved, I'll be posting some resources for you to take part!
