Howdy folks!

Sorry for our lack of posting over the past month 😿 kitten season is in full swing now and as many of you know - all 3 of our trustees also rescue/foster kittens. It has been a super rough month with so many sick kittens & hard situations. We've lost a lot of tiny souls this season which has been heart breaking 💔

Due to this - we are going to put things on the back burner a little bit until things settle down. We won't have a rescue of the month for February, but we are still selling our adorable cat merch & any funds raised this month will go to our chosen rescue for next month! 😻
We have put through our January donation to The Scratching Post today 🥰

We are hanging in there (just!) and hope everyone else rescuing this kitten season is doing okay ❤️

Howdy folks! 😻

We hope the new year has started off well for everyone! Kitten season is in full swing now & many of the rescues are overflowing! 😥

Due to the constant financial strain on our local cat rescues, we've decided to do things a little bit differently in 2025! 👀

Rather than sponsor specific cats, we will pick one of our incredible local rescues to fundraise for each month! This means we'll get to raise money for all 4 of our local cat rescues (and maybe some other animal rescues here & there! 😘) without them needing to document specific cats. We feel this will allow us to plan better & therefore *hopefully* raise even more funds for our amazing community! 😻

So we are excited to announce that we are fundraising for The Scratching Post - Stratford in January! They are busy rescuing & rehoming kittens in Stratford and we are stoked to be able to support them! 🥰

We have already hit $500 for them after a super successful New Years day at The Seaside Market! 🤑 Keep your eyes peeled for updates on how you can help us raise some much needed funds for them! 😸

The incredible team at New Beginnings Rescue & Rehoming who have been working tirelessly all year to save literally THOUSANDS of hens! 🙌

We've sent them our last $100 to buy some chook food for all the chickies in their care 🐔 ❤️

& that's it for December!! Thank you to everyone that has supported us this year - we are so thrilled that we've been able to help so many different animal rescues! 🥰

We have paid $184.60 to cover the desexing bill for Akira from Kiwi Kitty Kartel 💜
These guys work so hard to help as many kitties as they can & we are stoked to be able to support them! 🫶

The Scratching Post do incredible work, taking in and rehoming kittens in central Taranaki! 😻
