Many hands really did make light work at the Tapawera School and Community Garden on Sunday!
A fantastic group of locals came together for a working bee organised by Sabine, and what a difference a few hours can make when a community gets stuck in together.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, whether you stayed for 20 minutes or the whole day.
The gardens are now looking refreshed and ready for the school kids and wider community to learn and grow an abundance of food!
Projects like this are such a great example of community-led action in Tapawera, helping strengthen local food resilience while bringing people together along the way.
If you’d like to be part of it, you can share your ideas, lend a hand! Just get in touch. Growing food is great, and growing a community is even better 💪
