We have over $4,000 ready to share in the community. 🌱

Hum. Community is our funding ddistribution platform where you decide where the money goes. Got an idea for a local sustainability or community project? Submit it. The community votes, and the projects with the most support get funded.

It's that simple — and your voice counts.

Kia ora Mohua 🌿

We’re starting work on the 2026 Mohua Sustainability Report and beginning to gather together the stories, projects and initiatives helping make good things happen across our region.

We’ve already reached out to everyone featured in the 2024 report, but we know new projects and community efforts are always emerging.

If there’s a group, organisation, business or initiative doing meaningful work around Mohua that isn’t already in the 2024 report, feel free to tag them below or send us a message with their contact details.

Also, if you never saw the 2024 report when it came out, it’s well worth a look. It’s a pretty inspiring snapshot of the amount of care, creativity and collaborative action happening within our community: https://www.mohua2042.co.nz/strategyandreports.html

Free sandbags tomorrow!!! Up to 20 per household, no questions asked!
Better to have them sitting in your shed unused than to need them and not have them. And if you don't need them, a neighbour might.
Come along to the Rapid Relief Team sandbagging demonstration
Saturday 2nd May 9am to 2pm
Golden Bay Rec Park.
Part of Mohua Resilience Weekend.
