The Russian Community in New Zealand warmly welcomed the President of SLNZ Helpline and its members, celebrating the strong bonds of friendship and multicultural unity that enrich our society.

We are also honoured that RUSNEWSNZ has published a feature story highlighting an inspiring journey from being an international student to becoming a community leader in New Zealand. The article reflects how former international students are now making meaningful contributions and leading communities across many countries.

A heartfelt thank you to the Russian community and RUSNEWSNZ for recognising the value of cultural diversity, community service, and international friendship.

Together, we continue to build stronger, more connected communities for future generations.

Severe Weather Alert !!!

Much of the country facing heavy weather on King's Birthday

MetService severe weather watches and warnings cover northern and western parts of both the North and South Islands.
State Highway 2, Waioweka Gorge, Between Ōpotiki in Bay of Plenty and Gisborne, closes from 6pm Monday night as a precaution due to an orange heavy rain warning.
A slip has closed State Highway 6 in Otago.

Tasman District Council is warning of significant impacts during the weather event, which it said would be the largest since the June/July floods of 2025 in some areas.

Stay safe and dry.

Honorable Minister Mr. Vijitha Herath at the Auckland Business Chamber today.

This visit marks an important opportunity to strengthen business, tourism, trade, and investment connections between Sri Lanka and New Zealand while engaging with the Sri Lankan business community in Auckland.

Constructive dialogue between government leaders and the private sector plays a vital role in creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs, exporters, tourism operators, and investors from both countries.

Wishing Hon. Minister Vijitha Herath a successful and productive engagement in Auckland. We look forward to seeing stronger collaboration and meaningful partnerships emerge from this visit to benefit fellow SLNZ
