Wonderful followers of our Hall!

We are on the hunt for a new hall secretary!

Since before the Makeover Project, Tanya Wilson put her hand up to carry out the secretary role of the hall committee. This was a new experience to her, with a heck of a lot of unforeseen learnings along the way, and she carried out her duties amazingly 👏🏾

For that, Tanya, we thank you.

Tanya will be stepping down from secretary following the AGM but will carry on as a general committee member - which is great for handover to our new, incoming secretary.

Continuing a tradition: Te Mata Primary School performs production to sell-out crowd at the Te Mata Hall.

On Thursday night, students performed their production "A Night at the Movies."

The hall was at capacity with some attendees saying that the performance and energy from the students was nothing short of amazing.

Well done Te Mata School!

A big shout out to the parents, students, teachers and volunteers of the night.

And on a side-note: thanks to Jeremy Cornes for sorting out the sash windows, allowing them to work as they should, as it sounds like they were a welcome relief to the audience.

THIS WEEKEND!!!

Our wee playgroup was almost lost BUT thanks to the callout from the Te Mata school, the motivation of some key women in the district and a helpful MoE employee the playgroup is back online and taking enrolments.

There are a few jobs that need to be done before playgroup can commence so, please, if you have a spare hour or so this Saturday, come down and lend a hand.
