A small group met at Shirleys home where her sister Barbara of the north otago club shared ideas from the workshop she attended at conference. This included using corrugated cardboard to make various shapes to decorate glass jars etc. We were also challenged to make a picture using a cardboard plate and different materials. Shirley supplied lunch to the group which was enjoyed by all.

Today we travelled to Chatto Creek where Julie welcomed us to her impressive workroom.
Our workshop was to create a sustainable and long lasting design including willow stems.
We had freedom of style otherwise, so there were a lovely variety of designs for our families to enjoy.
Thank you Julie for being a wonderful hostess and also that wicked pumpkin cake .
