Thank you to everyone who attended prizegiving tonight, and who helped us celebrate the achievements of our athletes. It was wonderful to acknowledge all of our athletes and the contribution they have made to Mana this season.

We take a huge amount of pride in the community and culture at Mana, and we are thrilled to have so many athletes, families and whānau involved week in, week out. It is only with your support that this club can be as enjoyable and successful as it is. We rely very heavily on family support, and we know we can reply on you all to help out and provide a safe and enjoyable place for young athletes.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our generous sponsors. New World Whitby for their ongoing support for our Club Night bbq. They are huge supporters of the community and the free sausage sizzle is always a highlight! We'd also like to acknowledge PCL Contracting Ltd and AM Janssen - Harcourts Paremata for supporting our athletes as they competed on the national stage. Your generosity is greatly appreciated, and your support enabled our athletes to perform with distinction, success and pride. You may have noticed our fabulous new tent - this absolute beauty was courtesy of a generous grant from Pelorus Trust. We and the kids absolutely love it! And we acknowledge the ongoing support from Porirua City Council to provide our athletes with great facilities at Adventure Park each and every week. Anita Baker - Mayor of Porirua City.

And lastly, to our committee members- thank you for your ongoing efforts throughout the season to provide an amazing environment for your people to experience all the fun of athletics.

We look forward to seeing everyone back later this year for the 2026/27 season, and if you are keen on being part of the club in the meantime over winter - let us know!

Well, that was a lovely way to (almost) end the season! 🥰

Thank you everyone for turning up to celebrate the achievements of our Mana Minis, and congratulations to all of our athletes. We hope everyone has enjoyed their season, and that you will all be back for more fun in the 2026/27 season!

It was really special to recognise the hard work our Minis have put in. Plus, how wonderful was it do be able to do it in our beautiful new tent?! We think it's fabulous, and we are extremely grateful to Pelorus Trust for providing the grant to make it happen. We also reckon the kids look pretty sharp in their sweet new bucket hats.

As ever, everyone loved the end of night sausage sizzle, and we'd like to offer an enormous thank you to New World Whitby for their support with that throughout the year.

That's it for all the activities, but we actually have one more week to go. Please join us at prizegiving for our athletes aged seven and up next Tuesday from 6pm at Whitby Bowling Club. We'll see you there!
