FIELD DAY INVITE — “Uniquely Tōtara Valley”

When: 2 p.m., Thursday 7th August
Where: Meet at Tom Lambie’s farm, Tōtara Valley Road — then travel to the Māori Rock Art site, Gould Road
• Guided walk through Tom’s recently established native plantings on the banks of Totara Valley Creek
See how strategic planting is boosting biodiversity and water quality.
• Visit to ancient Māori Rock Art plantings
• On site insights from Phil Brownie (Ōpihi Environmental Services)
Practical tips on species selection, pest control, and long term restoration planning.
