Urgent Care now available in the South Wairarapa 🙌

We’re excited to announce that Featherston, Greytown & Martinborough Medical now offers an Urgent Care Service on all weekdays from Five Rivers Medical in Greytown!

Available: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Location: Five Rivers Medical, Greytown

For:
* South Wairarapa patients needing urgent care

* Casual patients who can't get an urgent appointment with their enrolled practice

* Visitors to the area needing same-day medical attention

This service is designed for URGENT on the day bookings only. It is NOT for any long-term medical conditions as no follow up is provided.

Due to staff changes, we are no longer able to offer a clinic at Pirinoa on Mondays. Dr Dias will still be available for GP appointments at the Pirinoa Clinic on Fridays.

Pirinoa Clinic Update ☀️🐮🚜

Dr Dias is away for two weeks so won't be back at the Pirinoa Clinic until Friday 22nd March.

Don't worry though, our wonderful Nurse Practitioner Karen Bradley is there every Tuesday from 9-12:30pm, and our Health Improvement Practitioner Nani is there every Wednesday.

New after-hours telehealth service Ka Ora Telecare is now available for our rural communities.

If you're in a rural area, call 0800 2 KA ORA (0800 252 672) to access, or you can be referred by your usual healthcare provider.

This service will improve access to primary health care for almost 900,000 New Zealanders.

The service is available from 5pm-8am on weekdays and 24 hours a day on weekends and public holidays. Staffed by kaiāwhina, nurses, GPs and emergency medicine specialists, the service is open to all rural areas whether they're enrolled with a primary care practice or not.
