THEY ARE OUR VOLUNTEERS, THEY ARE OUR CHAMPIONS, THEY ARE YOU.

Our volunteers don’t just keep what they learned at work - being a Connector, being an ASIST volunteer, they take those skills back home, back into their communities, and into their daily lives.

It’s mates helping mates, we’re building stronger webs of well-being across New Zealand.

Toolbox Talks are a great opportunity to discuss more than physical hazards.

Yesterday, Field Officer Raman spent some time with the team at Form Building & Developments at their St Lukes site.

For the MATES team, Toolbox Talks are a time to remind workers about the importance of looking out for themselves and their mates, by opening up conversations about mental health and well-being.

Small Actions. Big Difference.

During the 2025 MATES Well-being Survey, workers in construction, infrastructure and manufacturing reported lack of sleep, exhaustion, physical health problems, lack of time for self-care and mental health concerns as common challenges they face outside of work.

For Men's Health Week, our team shared some of the actions we can take when faced with some of these challenges.

THANK YOU

Last week, we spent the day soaking up the atmosphere at Fieldays and catching up with some of our incredible partners exhibiting across the event.

A huge thank you to Signature Homes, G.J. Gardner Homes NZ, Simon Lucas North Shore Mitsubishi, Milwaukee, PlaceMakers, and all of our valued partners for welcoming us to your stands and giving us a firsthand look at the latest innovations, products, and experiences on display.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect and see the extensive reach of our industry and partners within communities across the country.
