It’s another instalment of YANZ’s Community Spotlights 🔦⭐️
If you’ve been following our Rangatahi Open Mic series, you will no doubt be familiar with our partners . This tīma is made up of the most talented and skilled artists, who are so generous with sharing their professional knowledge to our rangatahi community 🙌
Aside from collaborating with YANZ, they also run Songwriters 4 Climate Action (SW4CA) 🌏☀️ Since 2021 this collective has intended to bring together community based performers through a series of workshops and activities; to help support and inspire them to develop songs, artwork, and spark conversations that highlight the challenges and hopes for climate action.
Their most recent album dropped on the 1st of this month! SW4CA, Vol. 3 (Rangatahi) celebrates youth voices and is an insightful showcase of youth perspectives on climate change.
