Thank you to everyone who came long and supported the Papamoa Lions and Papamoa Volunteer Fire Brigade yesterday. We hope you all had a fun day making your sandcastles and enjoyed your prizes.

Followed by a gold coin donation BBQ at Tasman Holiday Park.

The Papamoa Volunteer Fire Brigade service the 25km stretch from Kaituna River Mouth to The Mount, many of these areas are not reachable by the fire truck.
The ATV will speed up response times in getting to those harder to access areas including up the Papamoa Hills and the 7km of undeveloped beach along our shores.

On average there are 25 calls per year that an ATV would have seriously helped with access and response time. 25 might not seem a lot, but if it was your family, friends or property needing their help, would you still think that?

If you have any questions about the need for an ATV, please ask!

Yesterday's Amazing Race would not have been possible without support from the local businesses, supporters and sponsors who got behind this, so a big 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to them all.

And of course all the Papamoa Lions and Papamoa Volunteer Fire Brigade members who organised the event and helped on the day. All members are volunteers and happily give up their time to support the Papamoa community. If you want to get involved in either group, please reach out as without volunteers, events like this are not possible.
