🏏What a beautiful Otago day out on the field for the annual Macraes vs OceanaGold Cricket Match!🏏

For the first time in years, OceanaGold came away with the win, sealing the match with an over to spare.

Congrats to Mick O’Connell – Man of the Match and Play of the Day with an absolute monster of a six!💥

Great sportsmanship, great weather, and great company — thanks to everyone from both teams for an awesome game. Looking forward to the next one!

MACRAES COMMUNITY / SCHOOL / PLAYGROUP WORKING BEE 🐝

Next Thursday 13th March!!!!!

Meeting at the Macraes Pavillion at 10 am.

A list will be displayed on the day and will be discussed.
Some big jobs;
Splitting wood at the school.
* Peddies donated wood splitter to use
*Stoneblend contracting; telehandler and hopefully grapple 😂
If anyone has a chainsaw, that would be handy to ring the logs.

Fencing to be done at the school between the pool and Turf to fully enclose the school
*Roy's have donated a post rammer and tractor

If anyone has a water blaster, please bring along for general clean ups around the village ( buildings ) Also; ladders, rakes, trailers, hedge trimmers, that will be a huge help also.

Would be great to see as many of you there on the day, even if it was just for a couple of hours.

MCI will put on a bbq & refreshments once the jobs are done ✅
