The family of 48 purple ducks have been having one adventure after another playing checkers, visiting their bigger cousins, climbing the steps, they formed a big heart shape and one little duck even got to help or play around with the ‘ hire a housewife’ cleaners. They were all swimming together in their little pool and then the unbelievable happened they all disappeared, perhaps they wandered off ..

We need you to keep an eye out around the square. They won't have gotten very far, their legs are very small. We need to gather them up together on the 3rd of December in the square opposite the library. If you bring them home on the 3rd there will be a small thankyou prize. If you keep an eye on this page there could be some recent sightings or clues to help you find one ( that's right one purple duck per family)

countdown is on as there's only @ 29 more sleeps till the big event. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the square on December 3rd 2025 for International Day of Persons with Disabilities, there's going to be activities to have a go, Kapa Haka groups and other musical items, there is the famous obstacle relay of teams of four competing against each other. Food trucks will be there if you get hungry. Come down on dec 3rd for fun as i know it will be, so come on down on 3rd of dec time to have fun
