The impact of Lions extends far beyond what many people realise.
During the 2025–26 fiscal year, the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) awarded the equivalent of NZ$88.8 million in grant funding to support communities around the world.
These grants help provide disaster relief, support childhood cancer initiatives, improve vision, strengthen food security, protect the environment, and fund countless other life-changing projects.
Here in New Zealand, LCIF funding has also helped communities recover from natural disasters, providing much-needed support when it was needed most.
Every fundraiser, every volunteer hour, and every Lion makes a difference.
Together, we don't just serve our local communities—we're part of a global organisation changing lives every day.
