What an incredible night!
After a long month of dedication and determination, we finally took to the floor at the
Palmy Arena to support our local team, the Jets!

The opportunity to perform in front of such an amazing crowd was an absolute blast and every moment of our halftime show was energetic and so much fun to be a part of.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us throughout this amazing evening. Your cheers and encouragement mean the world to us.

I'd also like to give a special shout-out to every member of our group who put in the hours of practice to make this halftime show such a success. Your hard work truly paid off and we are incredibly proud of what we achieved together.

And of course a massive thank you to Mike Tame for taking the time to capture some incredible footage of us. We really appreciate the hard work and dedication you put into showcasing what we do.

We're not slowing down anytime soon! We still have plenty of exciting events coming up and we can't wait to share what's next with all of you.

Our juniors showing Jake from Kea Kids News how it's done! He had an awesome time filming our Younglings, Foundlings, and Padawans, and even got to stick around and spend time with the rest of our crew.

We're incredibly proud of our little ones not just for their lightsaber skills, but for the confidence, teamwork, and enthusiasm they bring to every event. They represented the group brilliantly and showed exactly what the Palmerston North Knights are all about.

A huge thank you to Jake and the Kea Kids News team for coming along, we can't wait to see the finished segment!

This week the team will be taking a short break from our regular sessions as we prepare for our Halftime Show at the Property Brokers Jets home game this SUNDAY!

Our members have been putting in plenty of hard work at the meets, and we're excited to showcase what we've been working on in front of a packed crowd!

We're also potentially being filmed during our rehearsal for a feature segment that will highlight some of the amazing young people involved in our group and the positive impact teamwork, and community involvement can have.

A huge thank you to all of our members, parents, and supporters who continue to help our group grow. We can't wait to hit the court and put on a great show!

Another hugely successful meet tonight in the Palmerston North Square, you know we are doing the lightsaber community proud when even at our regular meets we end up with questions like "what event is this turnout for?" The answer none, this is just our standard weekly get together.
On that note though we have done our final practice in the square now for the upcoming jets game, so go get your tickets to that and support your local team.

It's that time of year, June is Men's Mental Health Awareness month.

A time to raise awareness, reduce stigma and remind men that seeking support is a sign of strength.

Mental illness affects millions of people every year, and many begin the decline far earlier than we realise.

We here in the Palmerston North Knights have a very diverse group with many males young and old making up our ranks, all of us including our Wāhine would like to show our support to the community.

Seek help if you need it fellas, even if that only comes in the form of a friend. It doesn't always need a professional to help you through it. If times seem too tough don't hesitate to seek support from any source that may help you.

As May comes to an end, all we can say is... wow, what a busy and crazzzzy month!!
We've had so many incredible experiences and opportunities.

From our May 4th celebration and promo, an awesome experience at Massey, supporting Pink Day, our Mandalorian & Grogu movie day and video, appearing on the More FM radio show, and one of our biggest highlights yet...being featured in the NZ Herald!!!

None of this would have been possible without the amazing people who took part in these events, supported us and those who have cheered us on. Thank you to every member, supporter, friend and member of the public who joined us along the way.

But we're not done yet.
We have plenty more events and exciting plans lined up for the rest of the year. So keep your eyes peeled, because the fun is far from over.
