That’s a wrap on our First Start ODE which was held over the weekend. 20+ combinations completed their classes in dressage, show jumping and Xcountry or obstacles. We were very lucky with the weather after all.

Congratulations to those riders who received a ribbon in their classes! We hope everyone had fun, learnt heaps, were challenged and want to come back again!

A massive thanks to our TD, Judge, event organisers and set-up team!! These events are a labour of love, volunteer hours and people’s precious time. TPPC wouldn’t be such an amazing club, full of these experiences, without you!

12th April | Two events, one day @ Te Puke Pony Club.

🐴 First start ODE 9-2pm

🐴 Green Horse Schooling 2-4pm
Perfect low pressure course for the greenies, take your time and try the xcountry obstacles, a piped arena and a small show jumping course.

EVENTING | Congratulations to our Te Puke Pony Club members and their horses who recently competed at Timberlands. Combined with Waitemata PC they came in 9th overall 💛

That’s a Wrap! 2026 Te Puke Pony Club ODE provides another spectacular day out!

Thank you to everyone who supported this event. The riders, drivers, grooms, coaches, jump judges, horse holders, cheerleaders, and those who give the legs up and even wipe the tears away!

I know you will all appreciate the enormous effort involved in putting on this event - it is truly a team effort from our dedicated members and friends of Te Puke Pony Club.

Extra special mention to Rowan Armer (TD), Becky Ormsby (Event Sec) and Kyla Morgan (Event Organiser) for their volunteer work that is far more than just on the day. Also the McNaughton Family for allowing us access to their farm.

First Start ODE | Congratulations to all riders, whether you took home a ribbon, learnt something or had fun! What a nice friendly day filled with great courses and good sports.

It was a windy, but awesome day out at TPPC Show Hunter Training Day 2025. We would like to say a big Thank You to our wonderful Judge - Marilyn Vincent!! Your personal feedback to each rider was so well received.
