Happy National Volunteer Week! 🥳

A huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers who turn up week in, week out to serve the Kapiti community.
From stripping parts to polishing frames, they give donated bikes a whole new life so they can be loaned out for a small annual subscription. 🛠️✨

We’ve been busy beavering away! 🛠️🚲

Since January, the volunteer team has been hard at work servicing bikes and keeping our local community rolling.

It’s been a whirlwind few months, so we wanted to share a quick update on where to find us and when we’re open.

📍 Where: Behind St Peter’s Village Hall, Paekākāriki.

🌿 Serving: The wider Kāpiti Coast—from Pukerua Bay to Peka Peka!

⏰ Opening Hours:
• Every Thursday: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
• Second Saturday of the Month: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

We’re working hard behind the scenes to keep up with the massive demand for bikes!

To help our volunteers get through the queue, please note:
• Saturday, April 18: Open for a short window by invitation only (pre-arranged pickups).
• Thursday, April 23: Closed to the public so our team can focus on servicing bikes.

🐣 Easter & School Holiday Cycling!

The sun is out, the school holidays are here, and there is no better way to enjoy this gorgeous weather than a family bike ride. We have a great range of bikes for both adults and children ready for some fresh air and exercise!

We are open during the Easter break at our usual times:
• Thursday, 9 April: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday, 11 April: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Our regular 2nd Saturday of the month session)

Why not swap the car keys for handlebars? You can take home this absolute beauty of a bike for just a $40 annual fee. That covers you for the whole year and includes free maintenance, so you can ride worry-free.

Whether you’re heading to the beach, grabbing a coffee, or just enjoying the coastal breeze, it’s the perfect time to go eco-friendly and beat the pump.

How to get it:
• Visit Us: We are open Thursdays, 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM.
• Cost: $40 for a full year’s membership.
