🌹 11.10am – Service, Outram Cenotaph (Veterans’ March 11.00am)
A time to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) troops
This Saturday, 25 April is Anzac Day, and marks 111 years since the ANZACs landed at Gallipoli in 1915.
There will be a range of Anzac Day commemorations across the city, these include:
🌹 6.30am – Dawn Service, Cenotaph, Queens Gardens (Veterans’ March 6.10am)
🌹 8.30am – Service, East Taieri Cemetery
🌹 9.30am – Posy Laying, Andersons Bay Soldiers’ Cemetery
🌹 10am – Service, Mosgiel Cenotaph, ANZAC Park (Veterans’ March 9.40am)
🌹 11am – Service, Middlemarch Cenotaph (Veterans’ March 10.45am)
🌹 11am – Service, Montecillo Veterans’ Home
🌹 11am – Service, Green Island Memorial Gardens
🌹 11.10am – Service, Outram Cenotaph (Veterans’ March 11.00am)
🌹 12.15pm – Service, Green Park Cemetery
🌹 1pm – University of Otago & OUSA Service, University Plaza (beside University Staff Club)
Before you head out on Saturday, remember there are some changes to our facilities / services usual hours.
🔹Dunedin Public Libraries and Bookbus will be closed
🔹Moana Pool and Te Puna o Whakaehu will be open from 1pm to 7pm
🔹Dunedin isite Visitor Information Centre will be open from 9am to 4.30pm
🔹Green Island Landfill and Resource Recovery Park will be open from 1pm to 5.30pm
🔹Waikouaiti Transfer Station will be open from 1pm to 4pm
🔹All other DCC facilities will be open as usual
