Oratia District School Parent Network - PTA We are a friendly group of people who meet once a month in the staff room and help to organise fundra

Our very active Parent Network supports the school in a variety of ways. Formerly known as the PTA, we are a friendly group of parents, caregivers, teachers and other supporters who meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm in the staffroom. The meetings are fun and informal and you can come along to ask questions, participate in discussions, put your hand up to help with an upcoming event

or project, or just listen. The Parent Network’s contribution to our school is in four main areas:

Encouraging all aspects of parental involvement in school life
Raising money for extra resources and facilities that benefit our children’s education and enjoyment at school
Providing a link between the school and parents
Providing information on topics relevant to parents and teachers

Thank you to everyone who has donated items for our Country Fair next week. We are no longer accepting donations of clothes, toys, homewares or bric-a-brac. We are still accepting large furniture.

This fun and informative evening is packed full of information, designed for anyone directly and indirectly impacted by perimenopause (and that’s everyone!).

The interactive presentation/discussion/Q&A is facilitated by Nest’s CEO; Nurse Specialist, Published Author, and sought after Speaker, Robyn Fausett. She brings her wealth of knowledge, humour, experience and expertise to deliver essential & empowering information.

By the end of the session you will know the key points of what peri-menopause is, including the wide variety of its effects, some practical tips & tricks to support you through this transient life stage.
