As a part of S*xy Ghost Boy's National tour, an evening of bizarre and intriguing comedy at Nautilus will occur on October 3rd and 4th!

"Begin with a circle. Work your way up, slowly. Bravely. The Macarena happens to completion. Scream.This is how you summon S*xy Ghost Boy, the award winning and hilariously f***able spirit, haunting Pōneke this October.

The show dissects the unspoken rituals and micro neurosis we have around S*x and the presentation of ourselves as sexual agents.
Using Clown and Burlesque, this wordless performance inspires the audience to heroically rebel against insecurity.

Described by witnesses as a hot mess mash up of Mr Bean and Marina Abramović, this show has split the sides of audiences across New Zealand."

Ready to have fun and make your own fun steampunk sculpture or Jewlery that you can take home?

Then come along and learn about making unique art from everyone's favourite Wellington steampunk weirdo!



This is a 3-part event, where we start off with the basic fundamentals of steampunk how to, and by the end of the third workshop you will have a fun sculpture or Jewlery to take home!

Tonight we opened up Nautilus as a creative space for some amazing friends getting ready for a trans rights protest. They came through to paint signs, share stories, and support each other — and we were proud to host them.

Trans rights are human rights, and it means a lot to be able to stand in solidarity in even small ways.

Big love to everyone showing up, speaking out, and fighting for justice.

The Nautilus Creative Space is more than just a building that houses artists. We are a community, a whānau of sorts, in which respect and sensitivity to the artistic and personal needs of others are the cornerstone of our culture.

We offer:
24 hour access to studio facilities, free coffee/tea, wifi, shared art supplies, as well as the ability to run art related events.

Current Membership options:
General membership for use of the co-working space including: tables, personal drawers for art supplies, and use of main facilities- $30 per week

Bonus add-on of the use of the woodworking space - an additional $30 per week

*all studios are currently filled*

We ask that members contribute a little time to help run the co-op through sharing jobs, attendance at monthly meetings, and working bees. This helps to operate the trust and allows our community to thrive!
