🌟 Happy Volunteer Week - LWTC Committee 🌟
This Volunteer Week, we’d like to give a huge shout-out to our incredible committee who generously donate their time, energy, expertise, and occasionally their sanity, to keep our club running for everyone to enjoy.
👏 President – Judy (chief problem solver and professional cat herder)
👏 Vice President – Andy T (keeping the committee flowing smoothly and always ready when a plumbing issue springs up!)
👏 Secretary – Dale (keeper of the minutes, master of the paperwork, and the reason we know what was actually decided at meetings!)
👏 Treasurer – Katie (keeper of the pennies and protector of the bank account)
👏 Booking Officer – Andy S (master of beds, bookings, and answering the same questions 47 times)
👏 Works Officer – Joe (if it’s broken, Joe knows about it… and probably fixed it)
👏 Food Officer – Rebekah (making sure no one goes hungry after a big day on the mountain)
👏 Membership Officer – Kath (the friendly face welcoming members old and new)
👏 Social Media Officers – Jo & Kent (making us look far more organised online than we sometimes are in real life!)
A special thank you also goes to the many other volunteers who help behind the scenes throughout the year. Whether you’re cleaning, maintaining, organising, carrying supplies, helping at working bees, serving on sub-committees, or simply putting your hand up when needed, you are an essential part of what makes our club so special.
Our club doesn't run on snow, hiking tracks or electricity, or just good intentions alone they run on volunteers. Your hard work allows members to create lifelong memories, enjoy the mountains, outdoors and feel part of an amazing community.
From all our members, thank you for everything you do. We appreciate you more than words (or even fresh powder) can say! ❄️⛷️🏔️❤️
