Competition day is Saturday 7 March 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a big one.

Entries officially close 2 March,

BUT late entries will be accepted on the day.

Silver medal, gold medal and multiple championship trophies are up for grabs.

Heavy Horse Ridden and working horse classes as well, sledge, log skid and much more!

A great day out for competitors, breeders and spectators.

Waikato Heavy Horse Stallion Service Raffle – 2025

Sending out a huge thank you to all who were involved in the Stallion Parade last weekend. We are incredibly grateful for the support from you all, especially the owners of these magnificent Stallions.

The raffle is still open and a great opportunity to breed the foal of your dreams should you win. This raffle will be drawn on Sunday the 21st Sept.

We are offering the winner of this raffle $1000 towards a service from any one of the Stallions on this list.

We will pay $1000 to the owner as soon as they have chosen – from that time any communication is directly between the winner of the raffle and the Stallion owner.

The WHHA does not have anything to do with organizing mares or stallion, any extra fees or any arrangements between the two parties after the fee has been paid.
