The PTA will be holding a sale of leftover lolly bags and ice blocks at 3pm – 3.30pm on Wednesday 1st April, in front of the school hall.

Ice blocks $2

Lolly bags $2

Chips $1

Help us clear the excess stock left from our Brickshow and raise the last funds for our school! Cash & eftpos accepted (no PayWave).

Lastly, a huge thank you to everyone that helped support our PTA Brickshow on Saturday – our volunteers, bakers and attendees all helped make the day a huge success. We look forward to sharing the total raised once the final count has been completed.

Tomorrow is our Brickshow!!!!

Rain or shine, the show goes on! Here's a run down of the great stuff we'll have:

Cool LEGO displays (and student showcase!)
Second kid's toys and book sale
Bake sale
Sausage sizzle, lollies and snacks
Coffee van
A visit from Harold the Giraffe at midday
Raffles with some great prizes

Please note:

That the streets around school may be a little busier, so we encourage people walk to school if possible.

The gate by the hall is our main entrance, there is no access via other gates.

We are days away from the Brickshow! A busy week ahead so, just a few reminders:

PTA will be running a bake sale to help raise funds in support of our school. Baking boxes have been sent home to students and we hope you can help by baking something for our bake sale.

Presale tickets will be available from Wed, Thur and Fri, from Room 22 between 2.45pm – 3.30pm. All students who purchase a presale ticket, go in the draw for a prize!

If you can’t make the Brickshow on the 28th March, we still have raffles to purchase and support our school.

Building dreams… one brick at a time!

A big thank you to our fantastic sponsor raywhitemangerebridge for supporting the Waterlea School Brickshow!

We’ve had a bit of fun imagining their office in LEGO form and we think this brick-built version is looking pretty impressive! Who wouldn’t want to buy or sell through a place built this solid? 😄

Just like a great LEGO creation, the team at Ray White Māngere Bridge know how to put all the right pieces together when it comes to helping people find their perfect home.

Life finds a way… especially with LEGO!

A massive shoutout to our amazing partners all.blocks LEGO user group - the Waterlea School Brickshow simply wouldn’t be possible without them!

All Blocks is a community of passionate LEGO builders who bring incredible creativity, imagination, and thousands of bricks to events like ours. Their talented exhibitors are the reason you’ll see so many jaw-dropping builds at the show.

Here’s one of those awesome exhibitors, James, with Nathan and Lily, showing off some of their favourite LEGO sets - including the t-rex from Jurassic Park!

Come along and see these incredible sets in person on 28th March - it’s going to be a ROAR-some day!

Are the bricks balanced?

We’re proud to have the support of BusinessLike for the Waterlea School Brickshow!

Here’s Brendan from Business Like NZ Ltd, Chartered Accountants, Manukau with his son James, showing off some of their favourite LEGO cars.

Just like a great LEGO build, a great business is all about having the right blocks in place. BusinessLike are accountants who believe business is more than just numbers and they help business owners “build” success with personal service, practical advice, and none of the confusing jargon.

A huge thank you to BusinessLike for helping us stack the bricks for a fantastic community event.

As part of our upcoming Brickshow, our PTA will be running a bake sale to help raise funds in support of our school.

Just a heads up that next week, cake boxes will be coming home with students.

If you are in a position to do some baking, we would be very grateful for your support. Any contribution, big or small, will help make this event a success! Full details coming out on Seesaw soon.
