Fill the Harbour with Sails hosted by Mangawhai Sailing Club, Mangawhai Rotary Learn to Sail Project and Aotearoa Surf School at Mangawhai - Te Arai, is shaping up to be a cracker day on our beautiful harbour. Part of the Waitangi in Mangawhai celebration.

Thank you to our fantastic local businesses for donating great spot prizes for our sailers. Mangawhai Gelato Bammas Surf Mangawhai, Mangawhai Mini Golf, Mangawhai Fishing and Tackle. Thank you. Thank you Thank you :)

There's a great line up of performers at MAZ for out Waitangi Day in Mangawhai celebration. Buy dinner from one of our fabulous food trucks or bring a picnic.

Recently added to the On Stage performers is Bernice, a Singer / Songwriter from Waipu.

Classically trained as an opera singer in Hawks Bay, Bernice then spent more than 10 years in Australia where she performed original music on number of stages including the then Sydney Superdome, Parliament House Canberra and many more. On Her return home to New Zealand in 2014 she has be sought out to write and compose original music for a number of famous brands.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
9 AM: Mangawhai Museum. A special start to the day for all honouring Waitangi Day. Traditional welcome and dignitary short speeches. All day free Museum entry and fun events.

11 AM: Lincoln Street Reserve. Fill the Harbour with Sails! Come down to our beautiful waterfront for an exciting day of water activities and sailing action on Mangawhai Harbour.
