I wanted to go visit my new friends today at House of Hope here in Kawerau, it wasn't planned, I just felt led to go catch up and hang out with them - so I did ☺️🙏

What a beautiful team they have there serving our community 🥹🤍 In the small time I was with them, they taught me much (without knowing) 🕊️

Thank you Evelyn, Sharon and Yvette for EVERYTHING you do for our community.

Be Kind to us Whanau,
We are here to help you.

For 6 years I have dedicated myself to hours of driving, picking up essentials in Whakatane, the cost of petrol, the time to do the weekly shopping, the unloading, unpacking and restocking shelves and freezers, the rubbish dump runs, making up the food packages and organizing pick ups🤗

I do this wholeheartedly so that I can bring some peace and security to those who need it the most🫶

I will always be Thankful to EVERYONE who sponsors, donates and supports Koha Ki Kawerau - ALWAYS. Without you all, the shelves and freezers would always be empty 🥹🙏🙌

Bless you Fam

Sequal Lumber - Kawerau

Another one of our amazing sponsors for Koha Ki Kawerau, this is only a FRACTION of what they have blessed Kawerau with this year🙏😊

A few years ago I had the opportunity to sit with CE David Turner at a local community awards event where he was the guest speaker. This gave me the opportunity to share with him what I do in my own time from my Home after working hours.

Long story short - He loved what he heard and said he will make contact.

This is the "fruit" from a little conversation had and his heart to want to help in our community where needed ☺️ and from this - Kawerau Whanau are Blessed!

Also Thanks Julia Gavan-Smith for staying in touch and wanting to go beyond "just receiving food" to something better!!

This is amazing for the K!!

Thank you David & Julz
