Kawerau Essity Employees Kai collection for Koha ki Kawerau🤍

What an amazing initiative created at our local paper company.

The company has stepped in to supply products that they make here in Kawerau, and now the Employees have put together Food donations to support our service as well.

I have no words.

A reminder to everyone regarding the criteria to receive from Koha ki Kawerau🙏

This is a non profit organization that supports Families that are struggling and going through hardship.

We are open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays - my address is 15 Robinson street, Kawerau.

I am not a walk in-store, I make all packages up for you. These packages differ everyday and are a huge blessing for all. There is no cost for these packs. The contents contain Breakfast, lunch and Dinner - the extra essentials and necessities are also available.

I will then give you a time to collect when I'm available to serve you. Please prioritize these times as I work during the day.

Lastly, I ask that everyone Respect this space (My home) and receive with gratitude always 🙏

This community is extremely blessed to have this service available and also the AMAZING support we receive - without them, this wouldn't be a thing!!! Let's look after this Beautiful Kaupapa Whanau 🤍

I was almost in tears when I saw what OUR own community donated 🥹

A generous donation of over $800 was received from Foodstuff North Island as well ✨

And $500 worth of meat was gifted from Kawerau New World 🤍

I carry so much gratitude here - not for me but for the Families I serve 🕊️

Our Family 2 Family 2026 Appeal is coming to an end this Sunday (Mother's Day) and so far, as a community, you have donated over 100!!! yes!!! over 100 bags that will be shared between our two chosen local organisations:

- House of Hope, and
- Koha Ki Kawerau

WOW!!!! This is the most that we have ever been able to collect and we are so excited !! but wait....

What if we could get to 120 bags donated???

If you are interested and wish to donate, then we have pre-filled bags is store for $20.00.
