Thank you to Bunnings Warehouse New Zealand Palmerston North for donating high-vis vests for our youth to wear on outings. There were enough for us to share between our Keas and Scouts last week when they both went on separate bike rides to explore our beautiful scenery in Palmerston North and Ashhurst.

As you know, the Hokowhitu Scouts are working hard to fundraise for the 2026 Jamboree! We’re running a frozen cookie dough and frozen croissant fundraiser — and pickup night just happens to fall on a Kea/Scout night (Thursday, December 4th).

The cookies are so good — they taste just like Subway cookies, and you can bake one or two at a time straight from the freezer whenever you feel like a treat. The croissants are amazing too — perfect for weekend breakfasts or Christmas morning.

🤩 Jolly Soles Sock Fundraiser 🤩

Our Scouts are heading to Jamboree and that means LOTS of fundraising for our youth. We would love your support to get them there and it can be as easy as buying a pair of funky socks. Each pair sold will help our youth enjoy an adventure of a lifetime.

This Labour Day, Monday 27th October from 10am, join us at New World Aokautere for a sausage sizzle to help our local Scouts get to the 2026 National Scout Jamboree!

Every sausage sold brings them one step closer to Mystery Creek, where they’ll take on outdoor challenges, camping adventures, and make lifelong memories.
