Tonight we met & celebrated some awesome mahi taking place in our Nawton community & celebrated both Eric’s & our 1 year birthday since the collective started 🎉🎁🪩🎊

We’re really excited to share some cool kaupapa on the way in the coming months ….

*Beautifying our shopping centre courtyard 🌳

We're getting traction, tho' maybe diff to the pics😛! Join us THIS Thursday, 6:30pm @ Western Community Centre, to hear what's been happening, and be a part of the dreaming and scheming for the good of this community we call home.

Two and a bit hours, around 20 amazing people, six trailer loads, and a fantastic result for our community and shopping centre! Check out our latest Working Bee, the cnr of Hyde Ave and Durham Street, a huge effort with plenty of smiles all round. Special thanks to Kennards Hire and Hirepool (Te Rapa), Central Landscape Supplies (Hamilton West), and Domino’s - Nawton for equipping, assisting and feeding the troops 🫶🏽👍🏼. Shout out to Fraser High School too, for the awesome students we saw getting stuck in with community service🙌.

Looking forward to seeing you for Saturday's Working Bee (see details in previous posts). We're expecting more people which is awesome, but could REALLY do with implements for a 'gnarly as' hedge. So, if you have them, please bring hand shares, a hand saw, loppers, hedge trimmers etc...and if you can come with a trailer, PLEASE PM us or let us know😁.

Our next initiative is a working bee at Nawton Shopping Centre on Saturday 28 February, 9am–11am (ish).
Everyone’s welcome to come along to help tidy up the gardens around the perimeter and freshen up the look of our local shops.
Pop in for 15 minutes or stay longer if you’re able, and if you’ve got tools, feel free to bring them along.
