The Winterlights main event may be cancelled but the WINTERLIGHTS LANTERN WALK will still take place: FRI 13th: 5pm FREE EVENT A community lantern walk, the LIGHT THE NIGHT TRAIL, which begins at the Geraldine Academy at 5pm, with a sausage sizzle and hot drinks. We will teach the children a couple of songs to sing along the way, then we light our lanterns, and at around 5.30 set off to explore the beautiful light displays on our main streets. After seeing the displays, everyone will be led along the river path, where a few surprises await, back to the Academy. Come dressed up! And have fun creating fabulous lanterns to bring along (workshops available at the Geraldine Academy in June. See their page).
