At Ribbonwood Retreat, we’re proud to share our passion for protecting local wildlife with our guests. 🐦✨ One way we do this is by demonstrating how our predator traps work!

Visitors find it fascinating to see how simple yet effective these traps keep stoats, rats, and mice at bay. By reducing predator numbers, we’re helping native birds like korimako, tui, and shining cuckoo thrive in Glacier Country.

These little moments of connection remind us that conservation is a shared effort—whether it’s setting traps or simply learning about the work being done. Guests sometimes leave inspired to think about their own backyard biodiversity projects. 💚
