EDITED.
Over night we had a break in, between 11pm and 2am, our back door was pulled apart, (point of entry) our office door, prized open and damaged, 2x freezers had locks damaged cutting to access items, taking frozen meat, frozen items, grocery items, animal food, **large turkey, streaky bacon packs in a red bag, lots of single coffee sachets, biscuits chocolates, these were for our auctions, security cameras, one in use (footage) and one still in box, a brand new modem in its packaging, some trolleys, black curtain, plastic zip lock bags for breaking down items, rifling through filing cabinets, draws, WE DONT KEEP ANY MONEY ON SITE, WE HAVE NOTHINH VAUBLE TO STEAL AT Te Awahou Kai , our auction items are donated, these funds keep us open, pays for daily running costs, you have now stolen once again from our Community Whanau, pathetic really, i understand its really hard out there, everyone is suffering with cost of living, but we are a free food rescue store, we all are our free time to serve our Community Whanau, if you needed assistance, you should of contacted me, below is video footage, please if you know this person , call the police anonymously, burgled multiple times since xmas.

Morning Whanau, we at Te Awahou Kai are in need of egg cartons (either size 6 or 12s, clean glass jam jars, paper/material supermarket bags and yogurt containers, we are at work today from 9-11 3-5.30.

(Drop of is the old play centre building, in Hall street Foxton besides the Manawatu pub).

7 years have past since this first post. Where our journey first started, we first started at Foxton primary school in room 9, Duncan Street, then Whyte street, now Hall street. What an amazing journey we have been on.





'Blessings to those who came through the doors today for the first time, we will be open again on Thursday from 4.30-5.30pm or till we run out of food. Operating out of room 9 at Foxton primary school, Duncan street entry.
