🏉💛🖤 Week 6 Junior Rugby Update 💛🖤🏉

Week 6 of Junior Rugby sees 2 of our teams heading to Shannon for their Old Timers Day, while the rest of our teams travel to Playford Park in Levin for another exciting weekend of footy!

Unfortunately, the weather forecast isn't looking the best 🌧️, but remember that all grades (except Rippa Rugby) will still play in the rain unless the council closes the grounds.

Please keep an eye on our page for any junior rugby cancellations or updates, which will be posted before 8:00am on Saturday morning if required.

Good luck to all our players, coaches, managers, and whānau travelling this weekend. Play hard, have fun, and represent our club with pride! 💪🏉

This weekend sees a few of our junior teams playing at different parks due to other clubs hosting their Old Timers Days, so please make sure you read the draw carefully to know where your child will be playing this week 👀

Playing at the Levin Domain

📍 Our two Year 5/6 teams
Will be playing each other in Foxton on Saturday — should be an awesome game between our own teams 💛🖤

📍 Year 7/8s
Head down to Otaki Domain for a curtain raiser game before the senior match
⏰ Kick off: 12.55pm

Junior Rugby is ON and all games will go ahead today! Please dress warm, bring your wet weather gear, and get ready for some muddy fun out on the fields 💪🌧️

Our teams playing on fields J1 - J5
Near field 4.
Please be careful around the area between the shed and the changing block. There is quite a bit of broken glass there. The team have swept it into a pile, but with the grass there could still be hidden pieces around, so please keep tamariki clear of the area where possible.
Or be wary.

🚨 OUR CLUBROOMS WERE TARGETED 🚨

Last Saturday night, our clubrooms were broken into.

Not only was rugby equipment stolen, but there was also a baby shower set up for Sunday — and presents, food, and supplies meant for a growing family were taken too. 💔

This club is built by volunteers, families, players, parents, and good people who give their time and energy to support our community. To target a local club and steal from a baby shower is incredibly disappointing and upsetting for everyone involved.

A massive thank you to the Police for responding quickly, coming out to fingerprint the scene, and supporting us through it all 👏

Also huge thanks to Possum Parker @ Cozy NZ for helping relay and secure the door so quickly — your support means a lot to our club and community. 🔨❤️

But if there’s one thing about this club and this community — we stick together. 💪🏉

We’re asking everyone to:
